About

My name is Brant Stock. I live in Utah with my wife and five kids, and I work as a chiropractor. I’m passionate about three things:

  • Trail Running
  • Shoes
  • Extreme Durability

Trail Running

I’ve been running since first grade, where I was the anchor leg in my elementary school’s 4x100m relay. In high school, I competed in the 800m and have been running ever since. Around 2015, I discovered the beauty of the Utah mountains and fell in love with trail running.

Trail running is more than a hobby—it’s my therapy. It helps me manage depression, anxiety, and anger. It’s where I pray, meditate, and connect with God and the earth. On the trails, I soak up Vitamin D from the sun, find peace, and release stress. Trail running is my escape, my comfort, and my passion.

Shoes

As a fifth grader, I spent countless hours sketching running shoe designs just for fun. I’ve always been fascinated by the engineering and design of running shoes. Over the years, I’ve experimented with countless types of shoes, especially as I worked through running injuries.

In 2011, while in chiropractic school, I even launched a running sandal brand. Although I paused that venture to focus on my chiropractic career, my passion for footwear design never faded.

Extreme Durability

I’ve always been drawn to products built to last a lifetime. Maybe it stems from seeing too many cheaply made toys break as a kid, but I’ve developed a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship. Over the years, I’ve designed (but never brought to market) lifetime-durable products like shoulder bags, bicycles, shaving razors—and now, running shoes.

Why Barefoot/Minimal?

Throughout high school and college, I struggled with a series of running injuries: runner’s knee, IT band syndrome, Achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, and patellar tracking issues. I tried everything—different shoes, expensive orthotics—but nothing worked.

While studying Exercise Science, Human Biology, and Chiropractic Medicine, I realized that the support and cushioning of modern running shoes were holding me back. I decided to transition to minimalist footwear.

It wasn’t easy—it took me two years to strengthen the ligaments, tendons, and muscles in my feet and legs. But once I fully embraced minimalist running, I became pain-free.

Bringing It All Together

For years, I dreamed of creating my own shoe brand, but fear of the challenge held me back. In 2022, during a career crossroads, I finally decided to pursue my dream. My goal was clear:

  1. Create a minimalist shoe
  2. Designed for trail running
  3. That lasts forever

After more than two years of designing, testing dozens of prototypes, and sourcing the perfect materials and suppliers, I’m proud to introduce the EverTrail—a shoe that embodies everything I’m passionate about: minimalist shoes, trail running, and extreme durability.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I hope the EverTrail inspires you to explore the trails and live boldly.
